It charges 2 batteries at once, works on house current or car charger on 12v. It has blue leds to show the charging cycle and even has a battery check built in. If the batteries won’t charge correctly any more, all the leds blink. I was pleased to find that when im ready to upgrade to the 5d mark iii the charger and batteries will still work. 20.00 dollars on amazon. I road tested it on my cross country road trip from georgia to Ft. Davis Texas and back. I took thousands of pictures and always had a full charge. Id give it a thumbs up and a 4.5 out of 5 stars andif Id change one thing… It would be some way to build the cables in so you could never forget them.
